Hi mom!

Cora (/daddy) sent me this awesome video this morning in response to one I sent her; I've been in Philadelphia for "stats camp". Thank you, sweet girl! I can't wait to see you and your daddy tomorrow!

Jack Clerkin

On May 19, Jack Clerkin passed away peacefully in his home in Macomb, IL. He was surrounded by the two people on earth who loved him most and who gave him a wonderful life--my dad and mom. Patrick loved Jack dearly, too, and I like to imagine that they are now reintegrated, together, into the universe again.

Jack was the best dog I have ever known. He had a gentle spirit and noble bearing. He was present and provided comfort and stability during some of the very most difficult times of our lives. He loved walks, cooling down in the water, pets, and spending time with his family. We will all miss you, sweet Jack. May you rest in peace.

Then vs. Now

What a difference a few years makes!

Here is 1-year-old Cora, wearing an adorable dress from Aunt Kirsten and Uncle Darren.

Nearly two years later, here is Cora wearing the same "dress".

And finally: wearing the same leggings three years ago!

Sanibel Island, Florida

Thank you to Nana and Baba for their generosity in helping to create a family vacation in beautiful Sanibel Island, FL. This is a difficult time of year as we mourn the loss of Patrick. However, I loved creating new memories with my wonderful, resilient family. Happy New Year!
